Direct Bookings Agreement

Smoking / Noise Policy

• All rooms are non-smoking please be considerate of other house guests when smoking on porches or
other outside areas
• All guests should be respectful of the sound levels on personal and musical devices
• No cooking in rooms

Room / Bed Configurations

• Some rooms have different bed layouts – Two double beds, Two queen size beds, and One double
bed with one single bed.
• Room limits are two persons in winter season, around holidays and other festive activities.
• One family room w/ loft area is available for more than two persons with additional charges
• All occupancies beyond two persons incur a per person additional charge
• Booking preferences will be accommodated according to availability and occupancy levels

Booking Deposit / Cancellation Policy

• All bookings require a 50% deposit of total nights booked to confirm
• Booking Deposits are non-refundable, a voucher of equal value for a future stay will be issued to the
original guest if cancellation is received 30 days prior to their arrival date.
• All vouchers for future stays are valid for up to one year from the original booking date
• Refunds are not offered for no-shows
• All rooms will be paid in full upon arrival and registration with no refunds or vouchers offered for
bookings made within 30 days of arrival unless otherwise stated.
• Alfred’s Ocean Palace encourages all guests to attain Travel Insurance

Weather and Travel Delays

• Official Airline delays or cancellations resulting in a delayed arrival by one or more days Alfred’s
Ocean Palace will offer guests a voucher of the night(s) value towards an extended or future stay with
us and can be used to extend the original stay by equal amount of nights
• In the event of official severe weather warnings resulting in cancelled flights or closed airports in
Jamaica, Alfred’s Ocean Palace will waive the no refund cancellation policy and provide a voucher for
the full value of the deposit paid, towards a future stay with us.
• All vouchers for future stays are valid for one year from the original booking date
• Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for unexpected circumstances
